Some Random Game About Nothing
Controls:
LEFT - Left arrow key
RIGHT - Right arrow key
JUMP - Space
When getting on a ladder hold UP when jumping to it to not just go right through it.
In each level you just have to get to the door at the other end to progress.
This started as a game I made with another Engine. I was just experimenting and ended up making a whole game. There were problems with it however. It had no animation because I had trouble figuring out how to do that. I'm still not good at it and the animation in this new version isn't the best. OK, it sucks.
The original also used other peoples art and sound. Although I only used things that I could legally use, (by giving credit or getting permission) this bothered me to the point where one day I just took it down. I wanted it to be "my" game entirely. This is the result.
The original had 10 levels. This one has 5 but I ramped up the difficulty.
KNOWN ISSUES:
--A lot of the sprites ended up bigger than the actual platforms so a lot of the time you will be in mid air when standing on one. I ended up using this to my advantage to make long difficult jumps.
--I have had cases of the music or sound not working up until the first time you die.
--Some end of the level doors don't let you just walk up to them. You have to jump on top of them instead..
