I was told to playtest this, I haven't playtested it yet, I cannot give a honest review, but the creator is cool tho 🙂
rEboot is a 2D Rhythm Game centered around Precision, Stamina, and absolutely relentless keyboard destruction as your jackhammer away whilst trying to hit the jacks that one level has for some reason. But doesn't that come with every rhythm game really? Anyways, besides the point.
SUMMARY
rEboot is, as you've probably guessed, a Mania-esque rhythm game where you hit notes to BANGER music using the A, S, D, J, K and L keys on your keyboard.
(Note: the gif above is only a brief demonstration and was made during early development, hence why the charting looks like spaghetti)
GAMEPLAY
Levels in rEboot are built up of different Note Patterns that require fast reaction time and precision to hit. Hitting a note in these patterns gives you score and health.
Health is a core mechanic of rEboot Gameplay and is the main and ONLY deciding factor of whether you pass a level or not.
To pass a level, you must have 70% health or higher by the end of the level. The first 70% of the meter is indicated by Green Part of the Health Meter, the remaining 30% is the Cyan Part. Having 100% Health by the end of a song will not grant any additional rewards, nothing except a good feeling and a metaphorical pat on the back.
Speaking of additional rewards... If you hit every single note in a level, you will have achieved what is called an FC (Full Combo). Hitting every single note in a level PERFECTLY however, will win you a PFC (Perfect Full Combo, also called All Perfect Clear sometimes.)

HOW TO INSTALL
To install rEboot, simply download the installer from the latest release at the top of this page. (THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO PUBLIC RELEASES SO THIS IS JUST FOR FUTURE REFERENCE)
If the installer does not work for you, then follow these instructions:
Go back to the place where you download the installer and click the three dots. This will bring up all of the alternate download options.
Look for the .zip archive that is listed and click on it. This will download the zip archive containing the game's files without the need for an installer. Unfortunately, this means you will have to manually make a shortcut or go back to the extracted .exe every time you want to play the game.
Extract the files using the built-in windows extractor or a third party alternative like 7-Zip or WinRAR. The EXE will be inside of the archive.
