Rec Deception

You go by the name "Detective Evans". One night, you visit a supposed haunted hotel. It's obvious its all rumors, but many that live close to the establishment know that no one goes there, yet they hear strange noises and smell weird stenches every night coming from the building. Sounds of screaming, smells of blood. As a detective, you decide to head into the hotel. You turn on your body cam in the case of a disturbance when you go to investigate, but this may be your last use of it.

Welcome to Rec Deception, a Dark Deception fangame where you play as Detective Evans through the point of view of body-cam footage. This game attempts to mimic the styles of both games "Dark Deception" and "Unrecord".

There will be no later chapters, as that would be copying paid extensions of "Dark Deception". This game mimics the first chapter. If you have never played Dark Deception, I would recommend downloading the first chapter on Steam for absolutely free.

Player movement, controller, and camera visuals were created by ThunderPixelGames. Environment and monster assets were taken from "Dark Deception". All models and textures belong to Glowstick Entertainment. This game was inspired by "Unrecord".
