Theres a problem with the game. When you click on a button and hold the enter key it spams the last button that you clicked so you can just spam the generate pixel button and earn millions in like ten minutes
This is an idle/incremental game that I have been working on for the past few weeks. I really wanted to make something that was just relaxing and appealing to look at. So, this is the result!
I combined a few things that I really like (fractals being one of them) into it, so be sure to play it for a while to unlock everything.
The entire game is written in Javascript using Notepad++. No art assets were used, everything is created in code. I will probably post up a link to the source code once I get it cleaned up a bit.
Additionally, there will be a few updates to this as I slowly start to clean up the interface, add small features here and there, etc. The core gameplay though is complete, I won't be taking it any further than it is. I'll simply be prettying it up.
Update 0.1.1
A bug where the game wouldn't work correctly with Chrome was fixed.
Fixed an issue where if your manual number of pixels per click was too high it didn't increment the image.
Changed the look of the buttons.
Update 0.2.0
A massive performance increase once you get over about 20 images per second.
The audio now allows you to play both high octave notes and low octave notes at the same time. Double click a square for low octave, single click for high octave.
The audio now also has a new feature to unlock!
Also, the Mandelbrot set isn't the only thing you can view now. Unlock a totally different image to display and have fun with
Update 0.2.1
Fixed an issue where if you switched over to the new image the pixels per second would like double.
Added a progress bar so the player knows when they've unlocked everything.
Update 0.2.2
Fixed an issue with the Game of Life portion where it wasn't properly counting the neighbors of each cell, causing pretty much explosive growth in rules that shouldn't have growth. It should all be on the up and up now!
Thanks for looking!
Cheers
