Repenthium is a first-person physics based survival horror adventure which puts you in the shoes of Andrew as he struggles to apprehend the psychological quandaries he witnesses throughout his experiences.
Story
When Andrew agrees to follow through with a brain procedure that removes all negative emotions from his mind using a device called the Repenthium, he is unaware of what he has gotten himself into. Guided by the voice of his doctor, Andrew must overcome each negative emotion within the procedure itself. In a struggle to overcome his emotions, learn who he can trust, and figure out the truth behind his trials, Andrew goes deeper into his mind to complete the Repenthium procedure.
Gameplay
Check out the Gameplay Trailer
Unique environments each with stories of their own
A story driven psychological horror experience
Encounter, run, and hide from horrifying enemies along the way
Physics-based puzzles to solve
Destructible objects and environments
And much more!
In order to survive the numerous harsh environments in Andrew's mind, you need to be resourceful in using your surroundings. Physics - based game play means you will encounter puzzles that require 'out of the box' thinking different from other game's puzzles. Additionally, the environments you explore will contain destructible elements for a more interactive experience.
You will be faced with many enemies along the way which you must evade by any means necessary, whether it be by running away, hiding behind something and/or using physics to your advantage. With psychological horror being a strong theme throughout the game, narrative and cinematic sequences will have you on your toes and asking yourself what is real and what is just a figment of your imagination.
