Welcome to RhythmO! This my own take at making a rhythm game!
Inspired by games such as Stepmania and Intralism, RhythmO is a rhythm game in which you need to press notes that pop up from 4 different directions to the beat of songs charted manually by other people.
Key Features:
--Gameplay--
RhythmO borrows elements from other popular rhythm games and combines them into one fun and challenging experience.
This rhythm game includes two types of notes:
Normal notes that can appear from all four sides of the screen.
Ring notes that get increasingly smaller. You have to hit them once they're the same size as the playfield.
The playfield is located in the center and all notes move towards it.
You can forget about health bars and harsh punishments for failing and concentrate on improving your accuracy and scores.
Default Controls: WASD (Normal Notes) and Space (Ring Notes)
--Customization--
While not as customizable as games such as osu! and Etterna, RhythmO offers its fair share of customization options that can help with note readability and the overall feel of the game.
These options include, but are not limited to: Note speed, Song offset (for audio latency), Playfield customization, Note color customization and much more!
--Charting--
Not enough songs to play? You can chart your own songs using the simple in-game editor and send them to your friends to play! If there's anything that you don't understand, you can always read the documentation that comes preinstalled with the game.
Since this game had a small amount of play testers, I'd like to hear feedback from more people, so feel free to give suggestions and report bug fixes by posting a comment. Have fun playing!
