Very good remake!! Quite true to the original gameplay!

A few comments thought:
1) i have trouble to get it to fullscreen. It's fullscreen, but the gamescreen is too small (you get black borders around it).

2) Did you make new levels or is this a full remake?
Maybe some new objects for the game or some different weapons.
New levels would be cool!

3) If you bomb the block in the 2nd screen and then shoot the enemy that comes down the later, and before the enemy is off screen go to the right (the screen with the extra stuff). If you come back to the screen where the enemy was, you still see him falling down the screen (i reckon you use room persistent = true). Maybe a little bit better when the dead enemy is gone right away when you enter the screen.

4) I would also make a new icon instead of the gamemaker red ball icon.

Other than that, very good job!
If you fix some minor stuff (especially full screen mode), i would be even better!
