When I open the game, it says "There should be a 'RiteofLife_Data' next to the executable... Anyway to fix this?

Some are reporting an issue with the build on Game Jolt. Try searching for the Rite of Life Proof of Concept Demo on itch.io we haven't had any issues with that version. Sorry for the issues, this version was for a game jam and we have since been developing it for a full commercial release on Steam. :)

hi, im not sure if you are aware or not but when i tried to open the game after downloading (i use chrome) i got an error message, is there a way to fix this?
