The Deltron Isles is a unique island this time, as you won't find any rings here! This time, you'll be given a health bar. Upgrades are available to upgrade one's heath bar, as well as defense. Replenish lost health with Crystals(that act similarly to Rings)that are scattered about!
A World Map is featured, so you can replay stages in the main story mode at anytime! Selecting a playable character is also possible here, so switch characters often in order to find secrets!
The Shop are planned to debut this game! This time, it's ran by Venom?! He'll surely help you out when it comes to items and especially upgrades one may need!
The Save System returns in this game! This will save all progress after finishing or exiting a Zone! If a save file for Sonic.Exe: Amidst Catastrophe exists, then an extra story may appear!
Red Star Rings debut in the game! These are limited collectables that can be spent on very rare items in the shop! Can you find them all for something good?
Secrets and Easter Eggs are once again present within the game! Can you discover them all?
Emerald Shards are your main collectibles. You won't go to the next Zone if you don't have enough of them, so search far and wide for enough of them if you want to reassemble the Chaos Emeralds! You'll always get one when clearing a level! If you can get them all...
Syn Effects are in full swing this time around. These can mess with the characters, and can even lead them to insanity. Note that this will drain your health bar, so gather enough Crystals to replenish some of that health. Let the health bar go down, and...
Lives are omitted from this game, as they are proven to be unnecessary with a game centered around exploration. Though look deep enough and you might encounter some spooky things!
