The story of Rocket Rainbow Ring Rush DX takes place after the events of Rocket Buster 3. Consumed by rage after the destruction of her ship, Patch seeks to get revenge on Rocket for having foiled her previous plans. To do this, she reuses and improves some of her past inventions to defeat the buster for good.
