Isn't opening on Windows 8 with latest Java
desktop exe 0.1.4
WARNING: CURRENTLY INCOMPLETE. There's a lot of stuff that's buggy, unstable, and unimplemented.
This is the LAN/online multiplayer game I've attempted. The end goal is a top-down melee arena game where the teams are hidden (a "traitor" mechanic).
Right now, you should be able to host or connect to a server, move around, and see other players moving. You can see weapons, pick them up, and use them. You can hold two weapons, and attack other players. Weapons will deal knockback, but right now everyone is un-killable. Blocking isn't implemented yet, but you can still slam people with shields.
Player and weapon animations are done. Tilesheet and map are placeholders. UI is boring (libgdx default) but usable. No sounds, music, or title screen yet.
Controls:
Movement: WASD or arrow keys
Left hand weapon: Z or K
Right hand weapon: X or L
Change window scale: F1
Download contains a zip folder with a runnable jar. So, you'll need java installed to run it.
Built in Java using Libgdx for game stuff and Kryonet for networking stuff.
