Features
Runes is designed to be a 100% room-scale VR title: this allows us the use of motion controllers to let you cast spells with your own hands.
The game is story-driven with different photogrammetry enhanced environments that will challenge you with lots of puzzles to solve, and fights to overcome.

Our new locomotion system, called the 4th wall, will allow you (alongside with other more classical VR means of locomotion such as teleport) to freely roam over long distances from a third person point of view. This in-game mechanic is the representation of you leaving your body, and allows for different points of view over the environment, that will aid you during your journey to freedom.

On top of that, a nodding system will allow your now voiceless character to answer to the words of those interacting with you.
Features summary:
-100% designed for room scale VR.
-Cast spells by drawing in the air with motion controllers.
-Full story driven VR title with different environments and puzzle solving.
-Photogrammetry for full deep and immersive worlds.
-New seamless locomotion system.
-Nodding system: answer to yes or no questions just by moving your head.
Story:
You will play the role of Leth, a wizard from an ancient era trying to wake up from a centuries-long slumber, cast upon him as a punishment for his actions by the Panopticon, a tyrannical order of mages regulating the use of magic.

The first episode of the game "The Forgotten Path" is set in a oniric dimension, called Oblivion: an eternal mind prison that freezes your physical body into a faint immortality, letting memory after memory fade into nothingness and slowly driving you into madness.

But you are not completely helpless: being one of the most powerful mages of the ancient eras your soul has a different temper and you will be able to fight Oblivion back having the chance of breaking the spell and returning into the physical world as a Revenant -the name under which the few persons able to spontaneously wake up from Oblivion are known-.

Thanks to your palace of memory, a special place you were able to create inside your mind to store your knowledge, and the memories of characters you met during your life before slumber, it will be up to you to break the ominous spell cast upon you.
