It's very simple and actually fun to play, once you get past the whole "god damn this game is really unforgiving sometimes" part.
It got even more fun the moment I started getting powerup drops!

Sector 9: Suicide Mission is an insanely difficult 2D vertical space shooter inspired by games such as Galaga and Space Invaders and designed for the Low Rez Jam, running in a resolution of 32x32. You must fight your way through 9 sectors, each with a boss fight at the end, to win the game.
Instructions:
Use the mouse for the menus.
Arrow Keys: Move your ship
Space Bar: Shoot
Shooting enemies might give you a "P" Powerup. Collect this to increase your weapon power.
Defeating bosses will give you an extra life.
When you run out of lives and get a game over, you can choose to continue at the start of the level you died in. You can continue forever so you'll never need to turn off the game.
I'll say this once more: This game is extremely difficult! If you can beat this game then you deserve a medal!
