Honestly I really like what the game is going for and such, the visuals are really charming and the maintenance mid-night segments are really cool (specially the Teddy Bear one)
...the main 6 Nights suffer greatly from being overly simplistic + the Power Save power-up. Legitimately, the cameras are near completely optional and you only really need to use the lights on the central door, the ventilation makes a ton of noise and everyone makes noises when leaving, so cameras are completely decorative. Doesn't help how Power Save basically lets you have the main door shut the entire night and exclusively camp for Hug Me Teddy Bear / Ron Vent lmao
I also kinda wish there were more Maintenance minigames, since the first three are really cool and they could maybe help further the whole plotline of Alex supposedly beating the shit out of the animatronics and such, IDK. Felt kinda sad to go from those creative quests straight into minigame-land lol.
Classic Mode is also really nice and legitimately beating 4/20 felt very nice with how tight the power supply. Custom Night suffers a bit from the fact that you can dismiss of the Cameras/Ron entirely if you have a good enough eye to spot Game Man / Teddy Bear + the RNG of a character entering mid-Isaac Bot attack (though thats remedied greatly by just "Hm [Vent Guy] is taking a while to attack, I think I'll close their vent just in case" lol), but it's still a solid and fun mode
Overall, extremely fun and nice game, even if I do kinda wish the main nights were harder and/or more complex mechanic-wise!
time to play the sequel now lol
Recently fixed some bugs for the game and added a little bit. Make sure to try it out!
goodluck
Shades Maintenance
Shades Maintenance Demo

After an unfortunate incident that led the franchise to go under a rebranding, Shades is back open under a new owner! You were friends with the owner and had been gone for quite a while, until you were contacted, leading your paths to cross once again! He has a small favor to ask, though, as they don't have a security guard to look after the place. It doesn't seem like a difficult job, after all, it's just night watch and maintenance, what could go wrong?

You help your friend, and you get paid! Favors for favors! A night shift job shouldn't be any difficult, after all, who goes around looking for trouble late at night? Just keep an eye on your animatronic buddies! That's when they're back from maintenance, that is. Due to nobody being capable of doing maintenance, after every night, you will be tasked with maintaining either the building or the animatronics...maybe even both! You can use the extra money, and it'll be even more useful when you find out it can be used to purchase sweet upgrades for either your monitor or security!
