This is a very interesting concept, and thankfully the game loaded and progress with no issues, but I do have some notes:
It would be nice to have a menu of sorts for like save slots, language, text speed, auto-progress, etc. And I believe the text should be a bit bigger, luckily I have good eyesight but it would make it more accessible for people that don't.
I know it's probably been a while since you worked on this game, but this could make for a really good crossover game if it gets a stronger UI and maybe some more "decorations" to this game page!
