I like the old school aesthetic so much, from the puzzles to the music, you nailed it!
Played it on my channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQn1PWE58Es&t=252s
This is definitely one best projects around. Especially for such an oldie as myself, who's been playing from the very first Silent Hill back in 1999. Obviously, only Team Silent games are the original Silent Hill games, and Simulacrum is a perfect blend of them. I believe it's not big of a deal that the game doesn't feature combat, and the puzzles are superb. It has soooo much Silent Hill 2 atmosphere, it gives me goosebumps - my favourite of all Silent Hills. I just can't wait for the second episode, but, I guess, it won't come soon because creators have their own lives and they dedicated their free time (that no one paid for it, obviously) for this project. I just hope it will come out.
That was fun, took some time and was hard, look forward to the 2nd chapter.

Really awesome and very respectful, 1:1 homage to Silent Hill, all the Little, tiniest of details that show that you paid attention and know the series and what makes the old style loved. Will be playing more of it!
Hey, i played it today and i gotta say it's a pretty good game. You can feel the silent hill roots in things such as the gameplay and the puzzles, the puzzles are a bit hard but they are quite fun, even better then Silent Hill puzzles (even tho the valve puzzle is bit too hard to figure out). The game plays fine, there's two ways to play, one with the mouse and the other with the keyboard, i couldn't play with the mouse because it was hidden behind the game at all times (i was playing in fullscreen so that might explain it but still) so i had to play with the keyboard but i think playing with the keyboard is quite a lot better then the mouse, it's intuitive and easy to control and reminiscent of the silent hill series gameplay, especially silent hill 3, the camera did some absurd acrobatics at times buuuut it's a bit expected for a 3rd person fixed camera game and it wasn't a lot of times in which the camera bothered me, which is rare for these types of games. The graphics are really reminescent of the silent hill series again, it's pretty good but some stuff didn't look quite right, such as the design of the human characters, the main character has a weird face and head shape, but it's a bit part of the charm i guess, but for the rest, the rooms and the monster design (yep there's monsters, that's to expect for a silent hill look-alike) look pretty good, i really like the main monster it's pretty interesting to see. The story is fine but a bit confusing but that's to expect for a first chapter, i understood most of it all but not everything because as a native french person, i played in french and some stuff weirdly was either in english (which is fine with me), in portuguese/spanish or in broken french, but as the game was just released it's understandable that it's not translated correctly, i mean the game just got out and the only bugs i noticed were translation bugs, we got much worse with AAA games, on that note i would like to say that this is a great game, i'm waiting for more and i might be donating soon
