This is a roughly 15-minute demo for Sol and the Endless Orbit, a story-rich platformer/RPG hybrid. Currently featuring:
A not-quite-turn-based battle system. Navigate strategic options while avoiding real-time attacks!
Equippable abilities for yourself and your magic pencil. Swap them out anytime and try different combinations!
An expressive moveset that lets you twirl, dive, and flip to your heart's content!
Switch up the gameplay by controlling nearby objects!
The full game will someday be available as a paid release, and will include:
An intriguing story that spans multiple chapters! Stop the planet-destroying Lord Doomon, and learn more about him...
A new planet to explore in each chapter. Mythical islands and futuristic cities await!
Fun characters that follow you around, help you fight, and let you use cool abilities!

Arrow keys or WASD to move. Up or W to jump. P to pause. F for fullscreen. Esc to quit game. You'll learn more as you progress.
