I like the graphics!

I suggest that the game will include some random elements/features, like random obstacles, items and enemies (not necessarily procedural generation) for allowing game replaying (Replay value).

Sole Forte is a 2d action/exploration game (I might as well say metroidvania, although there is an ambition for it to be not too formulaic) with strong 8bit aesthetics and a unique scifi scenario.

Currently the game is still in pre-alpha state and being developed by a single person using Construct 2, Asesprite and Spriter as the main tools. There are plans to bring a second person on board at a later point to handle the music.

On a forgotten mining outpost hundreds of years may have passed since the last human soul was registered, but the overwatch AI controlling the station never went offline.

Currently attempt 2.489.001.327 is underway to reboot one of the remaining service drones in order to rid the outpost of an infestation of parasitic alien lifeforms. A pest control effort if you will...

The wet element is going to be a thing.

Currently putting together a 2nd playable test, which covers a small portion of the game and should be considered a closed pre-alpha kind of thing.

Summer and other circumstances slowed things down quite a bit, but I'm trying to give the old pen & paper its due and plan some additional stuff more properly.

A bit of some rocky progression involving the 2nd overhauling of a boss fight. But it's moving along...

You're just controlling a defenseless drone in Sole Forte, but there are always possibilities for an upgrade.

Revamped some of the interaction triggers that were present almost since the very beginning of this project. There are now little consoles to interact with which open doors for example.

Getting more work done on the central area which connects to all other parts of the map acting sort of like a mini-hub.

New critters are in the making...
