Game Soundtrack
Welcome to The Solus Spatium Concept!
The Solus Spatium Concept is a collection of ideas I've had for a space narrative. I have no intent to make these ideas into a game, but here you can find songs, artwork, and characters all tied to Solus Spatium.
Every now and then, I will give updates to the story, adding new songs and artwork.
Story:
In the near future, astronaut Snyder is sent into deep space seeking out potential Earth-like planets as a part of the now infamous Project Mankind–NASA's attempt to save the human race from their own demise.
As he passes through new solar systems, he lands on speculated Earth-like planets and takes samples to research, searching for the key ingredients of life. If planet doesn't meet the requirements for life to sustain, Snyder continues onward to the next solar system.
His total trip is expected to take over 20 years, with new advances in technology allowing Snyder to turn most resources from other planets into fuel. Food isn't an issue either, since it can be 3-D printed on the Compass, Snyder's spacecraft.
Throughout his journey, Snyder will be completely alone, with zero contact to Earth. He'll only know if humanity has destroyed itself when he finds a life sustaining planet. By then, though, everyone on Earth could already be dead.
Why Solus Spatium?
"Solus Spatium" are latin phrase for solitary space, obviously representing the loneliness Snyder will feel on his journey.
Summery:
The Solus Spatium Concept is merely a passion project, so don't expect all that much. I plan to reveal more details of the story throughout the updates (which should be about once a month).
