I FIGURED OUT YOUR SOUND PROBLEM 
(windows10, idk about other platforms)
When you download the game, you next NEED to download "7-zip"
(Microsoft store)
(this app opens rar files)
Once the app is downloaded, go to your files>downloads and you should see your rar file.
Right click the file and go to open with tab.
When you click the tab, it will give you the option to open the file with the "7-zip" app.
It will load you to a folder. Click on it
Than it will take you to a application and a folder. Extract them. Proceed with the extraction, and then go to your files>downloads again.
than take the folder called "sound" and application called
"sonic-exe(ENG)" onto your desktop.
Pick up the "sound" folder and open the application with it
Jeez... That took almost 10 minutes to type this thing, my computer is slow, lucky I downloaded the app before it did get slow.
This worked for me, I tested it out and I was shocked. I thought but wouldn't work but here I am telling you how to open the file, get the game, and how to open it with music to go with it!

And I got to average ending I think this is new ending :O

"Sonic.exe: Nightmare Beginning" is a sonic.exe inspired platformer game.
