Sonic.exe Unzipped

Well, i think i'll judge this game, as nobody else did yet, so, I won't go very hard in this game, but i won't go very soft too:

1. well, this one is to say that the concept of a fanmade continuation of sonic.exe is good, the things that are... y'know, bad. are these that i'll list down now.

2. Badly chopped Menu/textbox sprites of the playable characters... You know how it is.

3. the fact that you're using Default Maps of RPG maker in your game, Example, The rouge Level has a town which the only availble House was 1 that sends you to sonic.exe's funhouse (which, is just walking down for like 1 minute or more, but that's other thing), I literally saw this map in a lot of other RPG maker games, If you don't know how to edit well the maps, that's okay, but at least add something more or new than just a single door that leads to a place (which doesn't change the story) and some scripts and call it a day.

4. is there any sonic-related thing more that aren't just the sprites of the characters? no iconic zones like green hill zone, or others? because you could change the title screen and replace the Sonic-related characters with other characters that aren't from videogames or any else character of any tv/movie/book/etc. and it'd be a normal horror game rather than a sonic.exe game.

5. The Overworld sprites are nice, except that "Metal Sonic" sprite which is just a default rpg maker character.

6. I can get infinite Clothes from the box of Silver, this problem isn't about you forgotting to disable this script to avoid getting infinite amounts of the same object, the problem is about that the game doesn't tell you where the clothes are and so you end up searching everywhere the place where these clothes are, I spended like 5 minutes or less (or more) searching the exact spot of the clothes and finally find it.

7. Despite some characters canonically being as fast like sonic (confirmed by the games), the characters in this game are really slow, i mean, i'd understand with Silver, but metal sonic!? in Sonic CD he literally went as a bit more faster than normal sonic!

8. So... the Characters won't have their representative weapons? Like Amy with her hammer, or Shadow with the emerald of the chaos control? I mean, not everyone checks the equipment in these kind of games, But there are those curious gamers like me checking EVERYTHING and seeing some not accurate stuff hurts as a sonic fan.

My final rating is 4/10, It's pretty decent, But could be better.

I wonder if crimson the bat will make another exe game or remake the OG sonic.exe

OFF would be depressed that a 2003 engine is better than this ####
