Sonic J is a Sonic fan game that aims to bring a new Classic Sonic experience. Catching on to where the classics left off, the goal was to serve as a possible new installment for the series.

The latest build of this game is the Online Physics Demo, an updated version of the game's "New Physics Demo" (2021), which introduces online features such as:

Time attack leaderboards with watchable replays,

17 unlockable trophies,

User statistics,

and more, all powered by the GameJolt API.

RETROSPECT: Originally released in 2021, the New Physics Demo served as an early showcase of the game's custom physics and framework. While it remained unfinished and lacked many planned features, this update's purpose is to provide the proper closure it was meant to have.
Therefore, the current demo's highlights are the online features.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the Final Demo, the next major update for the game. It will reintroduce the main campaign with new content, including a brand-new zone, Tails as a playable character, and more. Stay tuned for further updates!
