Story

Have you ever wondered why Sonic no longer needs the Super Emeralds? or rather... Have you ever wondered what happened to the Super Emeralds?

After the defeat in Doomsday Zone, Dr. Eggman was never heard from again, so peace returned... not for long, one night, Angel Island fell, but not because the Master Emerald was missing, if not, it fell due to the lack of colors in his emeralds and his... energy? Due to this, Sonic and Knuckles will have to join forces once again and solve this problem.

A traitor can mess things up...or can't he?
