SPOILER REVIEW
Dude, this fangame is incredible! It is amazing how much content it has considering it's been less than a year that Ch3+4 released. I played almost everything yesterday, except for the second part of the last dungeon, which I did a few hours ago.
I loved all the puzzle mechanics, specially the fact that every dungeon uses a different soul mode. I was surprised that even the Patience soul was in the game, since it's mechanic is about standing still, but you found a clever use for it!
It also has it's fair amount of secrets, just like every Toby Fox game. I found 1 hidden upgrade in every dungeon, I think (but I had no idea how the get the last one, though).
The final intermission before ROOTS was spetacular, with the whole "accessing the documents" thing. Not only that, but this foreshadowed one of the mechanics present in the final battle! For a brief moment, I thought I was playing a fnaf fangame, and I love those!
As for the writing, I also liked the Kris character development. I just thought they were talking too much, but I know it was necessary since they are basically the only character that speaks.
As for negative points, there were only 2 minor inconviniences I found. I couldn't find any way to make the dialogue go faster. I don't even think a "wrist protector" is necessary, just make so that X makes the full text line appear, just like Undertale. If this is actually in the game as a setting, and I didn't find it, please let me know.
The other thing is that I would prefer that Susie's bracelet was the first option instead of the third. There were many times I activated Lite Buster instead of using the bracelet, but that's just a preference of mine.
So, in conclusion, continue with your hard work!
You have potential!
from what i've seen of it, you have excellent puzzle design and cool character mechanics but i dont think i could stomach playing the game with the egregious mixeling. its a preference thing and its going to be a hard no for me unfortunately. cool to see another person do full dungeons in the MANTLE style though!

okay bro
the terminal bit and onwards is actually so peak i was grinning ear to ear
Anyone who has played deltarune will be able to sense how much love put in this fangame; from the ost, puzzles, unique mechanics, to the fandom jokes. Very much worth your time.

DELTARUNE: SOULBlazers
...is a fangame based on the Sword Route MANTLE Sequences in CHAPTER 3.
As the SOUL, You hold the power to command the heroes to solve puzzles. At any time, you can Eject yourself from your current vessel (like how Kris removes the SOUL themselves) and enter a different one.
Using the power to swap characters, puzzle your way through 7 dungeons, including fully realized versions of both the Ice Palace and ROOTS, in a complete story campaign! Face challenging bosses, use SOUL Modes, and escape from this strange, pixelated hellscape, with Kris by your side.
Also features a complete OST by Seek's Stuff!
THE TEAM:
THE VESSEL: Blank slate Party leader. Commands the group, allowing multiple vessels to move as a unit.
KRIS: The hero wields a sword. A powerful combatant who wants to escape this hell.
SUSIE: The fierce dragon, capable of grabbing various objects and throwing them.
[ ... and more! ]
And, of course, there's so much more to discover... But our game wouldn't be very fun if I told you everything, now would it?
So... let's play our game again, Kris! It'll be just like old times...
FAQ
Q: Will there be an Android Port?
I unfortunately have no plans for this at this time. Sorry.
Q: Will there be a Linux Version?
I am looking into the logistics of doing this, but cannot promise anything. It might be a while.
Q: Is there Controller support?
Currently, no. I am considering figuring this out, though, since it's a popular ask, but no promises at this time. You can use software like Joy2Key to add your own support, though.
Q: The game slowly accumulates visual delay / input lag the longer I play...
This is, to my understanding, a gamemaker issue, not necessarily an issue with my code. Something about Gamemaker not being able to communicate properly with the right GPU on certain laptops or setups... I'm not really sure if there's much I can do about this.
I am looking into it, and I have heard that if you set the game in your windows settings to use the better GPU, it might help...
I apologize that this error is quite common and I hope to figure something out.
