Still feeling like the game is a little unfair even after your revision, I did a revisit on your game and I saw a minor change in the air dash but not much
Game is tight, not completely in the best ways. I felt that your air dash system was complicated and unpolished making it very difficult to even complete the beginners stage. I would suggest maybe switching that mechanic out for a jump system. I would not suggest this game to people who get frustrated like me very quickly at a game that just doesn't feel "Fair" in the long run. Also the hover platforms you have seem to move waaaay to fast.

General Overview
Speedrun: The Game is a simple platformer about speedrunning (it's also my first game). The game features:
3 courses: With difficulty ranging from beginner to expert
2 speedrun categories: Any% and Pickup%. You can either simply race through the course or collect all the pickups along the way
A quiet soundtrack that doesn't distract you
A simple and clean art style that is relaxing for the eyes
No plot or tutorial, so you can start playing right away!
Simple controls to make the game more accessible
-A randomly generated course that is completely broken
The World
Run, jump and dash through the city above the clouds. Don't worry, in case you miss a platform, the clouds will save you. And no matter how much time you spend speedrunning, the sun will never set.

It fixes a few issues and improves the graphics! Thanks to everyone who gave feedback and reported bugs, it meant a lot to me!
Unpack the zip into the directory where your game is located Please report any issues in the comments!
So, I changed the old version to a new one, which is compatible with patches. A small bug is also fixed. This is the only time you will have to redownload the game completely (I hope).
