What is this?

Super Mario: Sworn to the Sword is a Super Mario Fangame inspired by the Sonic Storybook series, it's meant to act as a re-telling of the typical mario formula, however with a more serious direction and tone along with it

this game is a heavy wip rn, nothing is subject to stay the same (maturity rating included, I kind of threw it together LMAO)

ALL CHARACTERS ARE OWNED BY NINTENDO, SAME WITH THE SUPER MARIO FRANCHISE

for the combat, should I keep the combat complex like what I was going for, or do simple combat for normal enemies and save complex combat for bosses
