This is my submission to the Opera GX Game Jam. Every aspect of the game was made during the competition.
Plot
Earth is threatened by an alien (UFO) invasion that can end human civilization. You control a spaceship from another time, and your mission is to rescue humanity. You force your way through waves of alien ships to find that Earth has taken severe damage. Luckily, the alien mothership is at reach, and defeating it will end this conflict. After a tough battle, you managed to destroy it and the enemy ships disperse... but you have no time to waste because you need to save Earth once again... in another temporality.
About the game
This game is a Shoot 'em up that takes place in the vicinity of planet Earth. Your spaceship has two laser turrets and a protective dome that have two modes: a blue mode to attack and protect against blue enemies and a red mode to attack and protect against red enemies.
Of course, you can activate only one mode at the same time and the difficulty is to select the appropriate mode according to your situation. However, there are gray shots and enemies that cannot be countered.

A justified endless mode within the lore of the game
IMPORTANT: Please allow audio playback in your browser if there is no music in the main menu (In Opera GX, go to opera://settings/content/sound and add gamejolt.com to the 'Allow' list).
A 2 Player mode can be implemented very easily. All we have to do is to adjust the difficulty (for example, enemies have 2x HP).
