The sounds were wonderful. I found the menu a bit higgledy-piggledy with all of those buttons scattered around everywhere. I would've made the buttons on the menus light up when you hover over them to show that they are clickable.
As far as gameplay goes, nothing new/innovative. I did like the way the camera/view shook when you took damage, that was good. At first the ammo and health "packages" were confusing: "How do I use this?!" and so on. Maybe displaying something on the screen like "Press E to use" or something similar to tell the player how to use the packages.
I must say, I've enjoyed the sounds a lot. Also the menu is quite ok, which is definitely something that distinguishes this game from the majority of the others here. However, the gameplay was, let's say expected. It doesn't bring anything new to the table, still, congrats!
I enjoyed the game, I usually hate people advertising their games on the chat but I'm glad this person did. Found myself another game I'm proud to have in my bundles to play with my local welsh buddies. ;) I'd give this a 5/5 for a indie game 2d. It's brilliant fun.
The Last Day is a top down zombie shooter, where you fight against endless hoards of enemies. The game has been in development for 2 years, and has gone through 5 major re-builds.
And one more very important detail. This game could not have been made possible without our Lead Programmer, Chase Morrison (Gamejolt Profile: Legit_gamer).
