I get the "RTP is required" error message as well. Would play otherwise.

Do you need a program to launch the game? Because when I try to open Game.exe it says "You need RPG Maker VX engine to launch!"
There is no sign. There is no hint. There is no tutorial. Even the main menu is missing.
What about the man himself? He is also confused. He knows nothing.
Yet, The Forest knows all about him.
This is a very confusing and intriguing game, revolving around a man in a small part of a forest. I made it as vague as possible, to the point that this game is a total mess with no particular goal whatsoever. I also utilized the ocarina system from The Legend of Zelda series, as I found it particularly impressive.
Again, playing The Ocarina is a real struggle (even to me, really), and figuring out how things work is a whole tedious process. However, it's still made for players to beat, to get to the very end, so I hope the endings please everyone.
Don't forget to read the readme and in case you want more hints, there is a Walkthrough file in the game folder. Should the game returns a font error, please install the VL-Gothic-Regular font found in the game folder.
