The Sun Will Go Out is a combination of space exploration and shoot-em-up with a shop/upgrade system.
You arrive as an inexperienced pilot in a troubled solar system where resources are running out and piracy is growing stronger. You are there to help, in what way you can. At the same time, a conflict is developing between the fractions the Alliance and the Rebels. Which side are you on?
During your travels, you embark on missions and encounters hostile ships. The encounters takes place in a Space Invaders-like vertical shooter. You interact with locals and gain money and ship parts which you can use to upgrade your ship.
This version of The Sun Will Go Out is a quite complete beta version. Currently, we are gathering feedback and are aiming at finalizing the game June this year. We would like to hear your thoughts on it :)

Press shift (X on Mac) to toggle between weapons
Press space (C on Mac) to switch secondary weapons on/off
In open space and shooter the available menues can be accessed through pressing Escape.
