NOOOOOO I was Planning on making a game under this name of The Uncanny Valley: A Darkened Soul. Now ill have to change it. :(

I had a play through what was currently available.
First off, good job! The graphics, though monochrome, do work well and all is distinguishable. No problem navigating the environment. That beginning cutscene worked well, too. The text is a bit difficult to read, however: do you think you could perhaps use a text box and a clearer font? Text is also somewhat cut off on the right hand side. Keep it up, I'd love to play the finished version
You are a Detective Henry Williams, or Mr. Williams. You have been called in to help with a murder case in the town of Reinfield that is nestled deep down in the heart of the Uncanny Valley, Maine. This case has a high pay, you'd be best to solve it.
The Uncanny Valley is in a very early stage of development, and is inspired by the lowrezjam, some graphics and gameplay will change. The uploaded game is currently a demo as I finish the complete game.
