Zack Cypher is a 16 year-old boy with dreams of being a hero. Even at his part time job, he can't seem to be found without one of his favorite books, The Adventures of Ace! But one day, he may get more than he wished for when he is found in the world of the book itself! Zack soon realizes that the story had changed midway and instead of a happy ending, something terrible has happened instead!
Armed with a sword and mysterious powers, Zack reinvents his image to help save the world of Pangaea! Joining him are legendary heroes from his book series, outcasts and misfits, and beings from another land as they join together to end the threat of the mysterious Plague Guild. Along the way, Zack, now Zero, will solve the mystery of what happened to the world as he finds his way back home.
