Through The Needle's Eye is a simple arcade game, which I've created while experimenting with some Unity mechanics.
You take control of an abstract object on it's way through the world full of obstacles. Each one has a hole in it. Why? Don't ask stupid questions, it's a game after all!
The game will have three game modes (for now is just the first two):
Arcade: you have a limited amount of time and a couple of additional mechanics, your aim is to fly through obstacles with as little collisions as possible and gain maximum amount of bonus points;
Survival: you have a limited amount of "health" and you need to go as far as possible (I guarantee that every obstacle in this mode leaves you a chance for clear pass);
Missions: I give you pre-configured object and a set of obstacles. You just need to complete all of them without reaching collision limit!
Each game mode has 3 different difficulty settings (with separated scoreboards).
I've uploaded Win64 build and WebGL build. If anybody need Win32/Mac/Linux builds - feel free to ask here!
You can control your alter-ego object with keybord (W/A, S/D, Q/E) or with mouse drag.
If this game will be interesting to you, my dear players, I'll make a Workshop allowing you to create your own missions. Also, I want to port this game to mobile platforms as soon as it will be ready.
