TJPW: Princess Pocket Rumble

Claim the crown in Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling. In this GameBoy-style game, you choose from six TJPW stars to compete to be the NEXT Princess Champion! Take up training to hone your skillset or challenge a friend. Want to take a casual approach? Try playing some baseball against the other Joshis! If you are ready and want that Princess Belt all to yourself, take on the champion in a series of matches to take the crown!

GOAL

I have always wanted to make a TJPW game, but just didn’t know how to approach it. I have finally decided to plunge in and try something different. I have made sprites of the Joshi Roster once before, but I never really used them.

However, the style I typically do is very unique and different from average spriting. So I decided to take on a GAMEBOY look instead.

Rebuilt Input System.

Fixed change filter when paused (which caused discoloration)
