The land of Arcanwald, home to natural-born spellcasters, is known for the towering building in its centre, called the Magus Tower. When a mage dies, the magic they had learned throughout their life becomes archived within the tower.
A young man called Raven finds that his magic has strangely vanished. It must have been taken into the Magus Tower, in among the archives, he thinks. Thus, he sets out travelling throughout Arcanwald in order to contact the eight Ministers, the land's governors, to earn their trust and the passage to the Magus Tower.
In this platforming game, you can wield a wide variety of magic attacks, though most spells will use your Willpower as fuel. To regain this Willpower, you'll have to resort to using your most basic attacks to regenerate the Willpower. Strategy is the key to getting past enemies most effectively!
You can progress through the countries of Arcanwald in a semi-non-linear order, and pick up new magic as you go along. The elements of your magic - water, fire, ice, nature, lightning, metal, wind and celestial - go a long way throughout the game. You'll need to carefully consider the strengths and weaknesses of enemies and the environment... or just have a blast with your favourite spell. That works too (as long as you don't go for the basic spell only).
Tower of Magic... I started working on this game in May of 2020. Two years ago... the development actually ended early in 2021, but I did delay the release for a while for personal reasons. It's not a perfect game or anything, for starters the art is really outdated. But there's still quite a bit I like about this game. So I hope you enjoy it.

To those who are wondering, version 0.0.1 is an early-access demo, just so I can get some opinions on the gameplay early on. Although three magic movesets are available in this version, you'll have to unlock them in all future versions.
