Nice art! Cool game idea too, the surivival vibe definitely works for Tremors.
I like the way you teach players that barrels are searchable, having a normal pickup on top of one! Smart!
Unfortunately it was quite laggy for me. I also got killed by a monster on the floor above me I think!
I like the static map UI too, having to work out where you are based on landmarks is fun!
The size of the map is great but I think it could be better if there was more reason to use the truck - maybe for hauling lots of resources around? Currently it seems faster just to run and gun!
Also I couldn't open the leaderboard sadly but I got almost exactly 9 minutes!
managed to flip the car and couldn't stand it back up XD, im disappointed that the fuel cans can't be blown up. and the throwable pipe bombs vfx make it seem pretty weak. and by the time i crafted them i think i had killed everything so i had nothing to test them on,
A Tremors inspired first-person action survival game made for Together Jam 2022. Find resources to make to make pipebombs, load your gun, and keep your truck's gas tank full all while fending off shriekers.
Win when all the shriekers are dead (hint: there are 40 in total).
