​► Why did you use AI assets in game?
​I understand that the use of AI-generated assets is a sensitive and often controversial topic. The reason I chose to use them is mainly due to budget limitations and the time it saves me during development. Creating a visual novel is a hobby for me, and without AI tools, I wouldn't be able to bring this project to life in a reasonable amount of time.
That being said, using AI does not mean I lack respect for real artists, musicians, or creators. On the contrary, I deeply admire their work. AI simply helps me make my vision possible as an independent hobby developer.
â–ş Why the game takes up so little space?
The game currently takes up around 60-80 MB of disk space. This is not because it lacks content, but because of the use of modern file formats and compression methods.
Opus Audio: All audio files are encoded in the modern .opus format. Compared to older formats like MP3, Opus preserves audio quality even at lower bitrates.
WebP Images: Almost all images in the game use the .webp format, which offers noticeably smaller file sizes than PNG or JPG without any visible loss in quality.
Lossless Compression: On top of that, all images in this game have been compressed while maintaining their visual fidelity. For example, a background image that would normally take up 3 MB has been reduced to around 200 KB with no visible loss in quality.
In short, the small file size is the result of optimization techniques, not a lack of content.
â–ş How long does it take to finish the story?
If you play from start to finish without saving or loading, it takes about an hour to reach the end. However, if you experiment with different choices, your playtime may be longer.
â–ş Are there multiple endings?
Not really. The story mostly follows a straight path, but your choices can change how you reach the ending. There is only one additional ending, which I consider an "alternative bad ending".
â–ş Does the Sanity/Atmosphere System affect gameplay?
The Sanity and Atmosphere System isn't about "winning or losing". It adjusts the color saturation, screen vignette, and music tone to immerse you more deeply in the current mood. The story itself still progresses based on your choices.​
â–ş Is there voice acting?
Currently, the game does not include voice acting, and I don't plan on adding it. I feel that voice acting might break the atmosphere of the game, and it would also significantly increase the file size. Since this is a short visual novel, I prefer to keep the experience focused and compact.
â–ş Does the game contain NSFW content?
No sexually explicit content is included. The game focuses on psychological horror, violence, and obsessive romance.​
