I love the simplicity. It's quite similar to my game Moonlighter that I did for the competition. You should link your game to the GameJolt API for leaderboards. If you need any help send me a message.
I made simple upgrade or I should say I added some extra animation to the game to make it look more smooth thou I still think it need some real exploding effects! still working on it.
