Cat goes Fishing: Universal Measurement Mod

Hello everyone — both those who have played the mod and those planning to try it out!

Unfortunately, development of the mod is being put on hold — but not permanently! This is only temporary.

Work on the mod will continue once Cat5Games (the developers of the original Cat Goes Fishing) release an update that makes modding more accessible. This future update is expected to allow older mods to be compatible with new game versions, so modders won’t have to redo everything after each update. Once that happens, development of the Universal Measurement Mod will resume.

Universal Measurement Mod is a mod that adds fish that haven’t been implemented in the game yet.

To play the mod, first download the data.win file. Then, navigate to your game installation folder (for example:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cat Goes Fishing), and replace the existing data.win file with the one you downloaded.

Important: You'll need to start a new save. To do this, go to:
C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\cat_goes_fishing
and delete your save files (they’re named something like sdata.). Make sure to remove all of them.

Important Notice:
Unfortunately, my Steam account was long time ago hacked, so I no longer have access to Cat Goes Fishing. Because of this, I won’t be continuing development of the mod for now — at least not until there's a free and updated version of the game available.
