Hello Neighbor: Vintage

I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised with this fangame. Not to say I didn't have high hopes, but I was essentially expecting the same experience I've seen with dozens of other fangames in the past. But this game in particular plays and feels so much better than most other games of this caliber - eg Reborn or HNAR

Even though it was short, it was incredibly smooth from start to finish. Everything felt polished to perfection and I encountered hardly any bugs (the worst was just the neighbor getting stuck, but it didn't ruin gameplay in any way.) I don't mind it being a short fangame since I see this acting as a source of inspiration for other developers. Idk, it's just nice seeing a fangame take creative liberties, and it's something I wouldn't mind seeing more. In a way, this game reminds me of something you'd see in the early 2010s, and that's a compliment.

The basement minigame also took me fully off guard lol. Anyway you should all be happy with the results you got here. I'm excited to see what you guys create in the future.

1- wait for him to repair his car sneak up and take it.

2- wait for him to exercise same do the same as the first one.

3- when he's chasing you place a trap infront once he gets stuck take the key.

4- find a vase and throw it at him and take the key.

Without a doubt this is my absolute favourite Hello neighbor fangame. The love to the detail is just great. the little secret animations, like when he picks up the phone and actually talks, disarming the beartraps as a player and heck even the pee animation. the creativity of adding a mode with a second neighbor (btw i would also add him in the credits "In loving memory, benjamin" or something like that) is just great. The only critisism i have is that its short. i beat every single mode under 10 minutes but still just a really peak game!!! (Btw i love that instead of a child there is an atomic bomb in the basement)
