I also included this game in an article of my favorites!
Ok, finally got a chance to try this again. I really love what you've done with the world building - it feels like a small part of something bigger.
The sound design was excellent too. I probably could have use a bit less tutorial (the UI was pretty obvious), but it was a cool gimmick that the player is instructing the character from orbit.
Anyway, a very polished enjoyable entry!
I commented briefly on this game on my own entries page, but it really belongs here: This is obviously one of the most fullest experiences of the jam and just a fun and exciting game. It's got a story that kept me interested throughout, amazing visuals and sound design, and a real sense of horror when the you-know-what finally is revealed near the end.
I'd like to comment on two very specific things I liked as well. I think the way you solved the map function was just great. I just got lost in it every time I was going from one location to another and probably used way to much time just to look at it and wonder what other locations were in between. I also loved the fact that I got to name the different spots (and I always went for the raunchy).
I'm working on a blog with my top 10 of the jam and this is without a doubt in there. Great job!
Lovely, well made game! I included it in my Adventure Jam 2018 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. https://youtu.be/v2xozxjKvb0
Here's my playthrough of the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01N14kT-BXY
It's the last game in the video, but that's a good thing -- it means the video finishes on a very, very strong note.
