Legend tells of a tower in the middle of the ocean called the Tower of Eras. This tower was said to have been created for evil by the dark sorcerer, Aegis. However, he needed a host to power such a tower. By kidnapping the princess of a distant land, Faye, he holds her prisoner, draining her life force. Meanwhile, a guild known as the Knights of the Claw hear word of this evil scheme and send a young knight known as Fang to scale the tower, defeat Aegis, and save Faye. Thus begins the tale of the Wolf Knight.

Faye is part fairy. While her father was normal, her mother was a fairy. This is where she gets her magic powers from. Also of note is her name is a play on the word "fae", which (as you might have guessed) means fairy.
