0.2.0 Update


0.2.0 comes with several necessary fixes into the game:

  • Slightly improved graphics

  • New level, unfortunately I overwrote the old level by accident.

  • Fixed the minutes and seconds in the highscore list.

    • Adjusted the scoring function such that one spider provides score that diminishes in about half a hour.

  • Replaced 3D shooting cone with 2D shooting cone because shooting angles were bit off.

  • Two buttons in input are unnecessary, prefer shoot/release cycle.

  • Jupiter Hadley basically verified the two-button input is harder to grok in gameplay video. The player shoots from a single button from now on.

  • Improved legsyncs, also changed the user walk behavior, so he doesn’t feel slidey.

  • Provided gamepad controls

  • Adjusted the now-correct scores to match existing ones. +8000 per spider -4 per second.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.

Hi everyone! I started to create some environment props for my new video game, here is a cozy house in the forest. I'm planning to switch from Unity to Unreal... Let's see what new challenges I have to face. Made in Blender and Substance Painter.
