1.11 Update - Freeware Garden


Hey everyone,

Just wanted to once again thank all the supporters, Let’s Players and commenters - it means a ton to me that you’re digging this game! I have two small updates below:

The 1.11 build has been released - which fixes a few subtle issues, and two big ones. The first is that you can no longer fall-through a certain wall (thanks @craziac for spotting this).

The second deals with a fix with Yvan the Ramen Master’s dialog. If you approach the Ramen counter and take the ticket before looking at Yvan, his dialog doesn’t re-appear. In fact, his dialog doesn’t appear at all unless you ‘leave’ the area and then come back - not something players would naturally be inclined to do. Bottom line, now his dialog appears, no matter what.

Also, the game has landed in the ‘Freeware Garden’ column in Rock Paper Shotgun and gotten a nice write-up in Softpedia. Whoohoo!

I’m writing a fairly substantial blog post on my website, cosmod.net about the whole experience of making this game and the various challenges I faced along the way. I’ll post that in due time.
