Very nice graffiti gallery. Rather WTF as well. Nice!
Also: yoinkyoinkyoinkyoink(i wonder if the game would end differently if I would stop)yoinkyoinkyoink...
note: "yoink" is the sound of stealing

still think about this every day. soooo awesome

not a bad little game and the artwork and the music for a free to play game was just excellent but it was a tad bit too short and it did kind of end on a cliff hanger i do hope you end up making a sequel cause that was one of the best free to play indie games i have ever played despite the short length if you do make a sequel i will happily pay for it

So, I really like the game... Graphically it's really pretty, and the music is great as well as the way dialogue goes it's pretty cool.

But I have a few things I wanna critique. It's too short. And honestly I don't feel like it's as immersive as it really needs to be. I saw someone else mention about making the conversations with the NPC's to be more apparent as something necessary for the player, and I agree with that to an extent, but really maybe you could add a factor where you can actually do something about certain aspects. For instance I found an NPC seeming like he needed some type of item and I wanted to give it but couldn't. I will say also I had no real issue with finding the pieces either, so I think if that's what you wanted that's good too. I kinda felt more like I was just on the outside looking in as I wandered through an area, rather than a person that was there to interact with anyone at all. But hey, this is just my opinion, and in no way am I saying I dislike it. I'm just saying there's soooo much more you could add to it, hell even make a second chapter to explain the "circus" and what exactly they do.

Anyways with all that aside, nice job! :)

"A cathedral of freak." - Giocoindie.it

*"Evokes a David Lynch-like atmosphere... Will be responsible for your nightmares tongiht." - *chase.be

You're stranded at a cathedral-like train station in the near future, searching for a ticket out of town. Explore the secret passageways, interact with strangers, dig for records, and get hypnotized by the soundtrack – a new batch of never-before-heard Archie Pelago tunes. Off-Peak, a game created by Archie Pelago cellist Cosmo D.

A Mysterious Setting

In Off-Peak, players will uncover a world where the fate of it's musicians and artists is unclear, yet their tools of the trade are highly prized. Meanwhile, the station itself provides all the comforts a commuter could ask for: great food, the best beer, entertaining board games, relaxing gardens. But who is really benefiting here? It is entirely up to the player to what degree they want to engage in and interpret Off-Peak's stories, characters and themes.

Gameplay

Off-Peak is a short first-person adventure game that takes place in one giant area with multiple nooks, crannies and hidden passageways to discover. Within its own bounds, the game can be explored at any pace or direction the player so chooses.

Off-Peak is Freeware.
