Programming Errors/Nerfs:
-Screen tint, transparency OFF, and fade in aspects of the party reload event in the endgame town have been moved from the page that only runs once to the one that runs every time you enter the area.
-Ember Celica no longer has “Attack Times +1”…because the skill it uses to attack already hits twice…so having Yang just Attack would hit 4 times instead of the intended 2 (like anybody ever uses Attack instead of a skill…).
-Aura Projection damage formula changed from ( a.hp 200 / b.def ) to ( a.hp 75 / b.def )…yes, that’s reducing the damage to 37.5% of what it used to be…but 37.5% of of 10,000 is still 3750…i.e. a LOT (especially since the user has an accuracy bonus now).
-A version of Hyrda (secondary weapon, shield slot) had not received the caliber specific skills from a couple updates ago.
Plugins:
-HitAccuracy returns…since I found settings that satisfy me over on ChibiQuest.
—As a result, the “Aim” team order is a buff again instead of a debuff.
Map files cleanup (may damage save files by the map you were on no longer existing or being changed to something totally different):
-Got it down to 937, then back up to 959…leaving me 40 to work with for adding the Team SPAZ scenes I want to add and for continuing the story.
-Several organizational maps eliminated (13).
-1 map removed from “Honor Among Thieves” story line by running its event on another map (maps were identical as it’s 2 conversations happening at the same time and nearly same place).
-The 2 maps of the forests between Vale and Mountain Glenn in the “The Devil’s in the (Tiny) Details” story line have been removed…event variations added to the identical maps in the original story line.
-3 maps from the Battle of Beacon sequence in the “The Devil’s in the (Tiny) Details” story line have been removed by adding conditional triggers to the original story line versions.
-4 maps from the Battle of Beacon sequence in the “Honor Among Thieves” story line have been removed by adding additional pages to the original story line events.
-5 maps from the Battle of Beacon sequence in the “Blood, Tears, and Explosions” story line have been removed by adding additional pages to the original story line events.
-15 maps (3 from each variant) from the Battle of Beacon sequence in the “It’s a Huntresses’ Life for Me” story line have been removed by adding additional pages to the original story line events.
-3 maps from the 1st round of the tournament sequence of the “Blood, Tears, and Explosions” story line removed by adding pages to original version.
-3 maps from the fairgrounds sequence of the “Blood, Tears, and Explosions” story line removed by adding pages to original version.
-2 maps eliminated from 2nd round of the tournament by creating extra pages on the original version.
Visual changes:
-All events bumped into on the large campus map during the Battle of Beacon now have visible icons…in case anyone thought any of those were random (they aren’t)
-Cat models updated (to the color adjusted models I made recently for ChibiQuest).
-Smoother movement in several scenes (diagonal slides/cut corners rather than always 90 degree turns).
New/altered scenes:
-Team WILD arriving at Olivia’s town pushed back to mid/late Volume 1
-“Olivia’s Semblance” moved into story from deleted/unused (mid-Volume 2).
-Team WILD’s 1st training session pushed back to early/mid Volume 2
—The evasion boost of Olivia’s Avoi-dance raised from +65% to +75% to help offset Lola’s new accuracy bonus.
-Team WILD’s 2nd training session (late Volume 2…like it’s the new last scene of the volume in the original line).
-Team WILD discussing Deeda’s semblance and Lola’s targeting system (mid-Volume 1).
-Team RKKT now has scene at the fairgrounds talking to Team JNPR after round 2 (“Honor Among Thieves” story line, uses same maps as original).
-In the SARA vs JNPR team battle, Team SARA’s thoughts and/or comments about current/next opponent at switches have been expanded (not much change if Ashley goes the distance or Sarah has to step in, lots new for in between).
—Sarah’s dialog when stepping in if Pyrrha, Nora, or Ren is currently in battle now have an “Exit Event Processing” after them…else the Jaune dialog will also play (same for Amy and Rachel stepping in, though they never had dialog before this possible bug was noticed).
-Team CARR’s Excellent Adventure sequence (17 maps, mid-late Volume 2) added to the “Honor Among Thieves” story line (imported and modified from Team CLEN’s stand-alone game).
-Team CARR’s part in the Battle of Beacon (and build up to it) added to the “Honor Among Thieves” story line (imported and modified from Team CLEN’s stand-alone game).
