1.7.5 - WILD/SPAZ bugs

The kind of thing that happens when you add stuff to early/mid-game years into development...

Start point selection was a thing before Team CLEN existed...updated it for them, Audry, Jennifer/Jessica...then forgot about it...


Bugs:
-Start point selection (green button at startup or New Game+) does not account for advancements made by Teams WILD and SPAZ.
-Starting over from the beginning in New Game+ (like you know you should) no longer asks about viewing the trailers…because they’re not optional anymore (haven’t been for a long time).

Common Events (installed to fix start point selection bug):
-Team WILD training #1 check: Runs at start of training #2 event to compensate for possibility skipping #1 with start point selectors.
-Team WILD training #2 check: Runs any time Team WILD gets put in the active party after the training #2 event up to the point where optional start points end (pretty long way to say I did my best to not mess up, runs the #1 check as well).
-Team SPAZ training #1 check: Runs when each pairing first jumps the barricade and begins their part in the Battle of Haven (just the first time might not get Jade/Amethyst since they aren’t in party…this allows a little time where they might not have their proper upgrades, but no battles without them).
-Team SPAZ BoH check: Runs the first time Team SPAZ joins the active battle party after the Battle of Haven (currently…that’s at end game, runs the training #1 check as well).
-Team WILD gear upgrade check: Runs in story lines where they should have gear upgrades (runs training #2 check as well).

Endgame events:
-RvB version of the Atlas Demonstration is now hidden if you’ve just finished the “dirty” version of the story (because the regular version didn’t happen in that story line).
-Puk’s Interludes will play what amounts to an error message if you’ve just finished the “dirty” version of the story (because none of the events they play during/after happen in that story line).
—Not hidden because the guide text is tied to the event…I like it where it is and don’t feel like moving it.

Explosive domino effect

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
