1 year of QUIETUS.

It's been a year already?

Hi guys, if you aren't caught up with the development of the game already, please go and check the past few updates, it just saves me repeating what was already said.

While it isn't the anniversary of the actual game page, it's (roughly) the anniversary of when I joined this little fangame, and in turn, when we all slowly started on turning this project into what it is today.

Since the last update, a lot has happened with this project. Sadly, not progress-wise, but with the stuff surrounding it. As some of you might not know already, X_Productions has made the decision to leave socials all together. And even though he's still working on this project, it won't be that frequent. While his decision is completely respectable, it left us with one question.

What is going to happen to QUIETUS?

Despite all the bad news and uncertainty, this game is NOT cancelled. If anything, development is about to ramp up a bit. X sent me a message before he left asking me something, and I am happy to tell you all that I am now the Co-Owner of Quietus. This means that I'm going to be overseeing and managing development while X is gone. I'm taking this opportunity to breath some life back into the project since it sort of died a bit recently. I'll make sure to see this project to the end, it has been a passion of mine and the team's for the past year and we all love working on it, and we can't wait to finally show you what all our work has been leading up to!

Reflection.

Before the creation of Quietus, this game started off as a remake of Dilly's Dusttrust era (Elite ball knowledge). But as development went on, we felt like we had the chance to do something new with a very talented team of creators. So we got to writing and coming up with something that was a lot more detached from the source, and we eventually winded up where we are now. Development has been nothing but enjoyable, sharing concepts of this story we've made up, and coming up with ways to tell it. I wanna take a second to thank the team for coming this far together, it really is enjoyable to work with you all. I also want to thank all you guys for supporting this game, it really wouldn't be anything without you lot wanting to see more of what we have to offer.

So, anything new?

Like I said earlier, not much has happened development-wise since the previous update. However, one thing I can share is that @cassdudette has been commissioned to work on PSUEDOCHRIST II, and from what I've heard so far she is doing a fantastic job. It's a lot different from the first one, since the game has changed tone a lot more since that one was made - but it's definitely new in a good way.

Also, keep an eye on the game page over the next couple of weeks, the game page is going to get some cool updates.

While we are trying to keep a lot of surprises in store, I also feel like there really isn't much information on the project. So comment down any questions you have on this post and I'll try my best to answer them!
