Hello, people of Game jolt!

We are delighted to be releasing our first official title on this platform. We were super impressed with the website during the #indiesvspewdiepie game jam that we decided that we’d definitely hit it up.

Our first love, as a company (we are a very small team), is adventure games. In fact, I made a lovely collage of our favourite 90s point and click classics.

All of us at Arrogant Pixel are 90s children and we grew up playing graphic adventure games. In fact, playing and experiencing these stories are some of the fondest memories from our childhood.

Us kids that were born in the late 80s and 90s have seen the evolution of the games industry. It still amazes me to this day how most of these titles never seem to age thanks to the stunning hand-drawn 2D sprite work and background art. Some of these games are over 20 years old and they are still quirky and charming without being dated!

We wanted to re-capture that sense of magic, adventure and mystery in our latest title, “The tale of Doris and the Dragon”. Please check out the trailer - click here!
