...This is it. Really! No more major content updates. Probably no minor content updates at that, aside from bug fixes. I have a LOT of projects I need to work on, ESPECIALLY including Frisk and Shaggy Enter the Mafia. That game isn't finished yet, but it really needs to be. I don't even have that much left planned for it.
Not even mentioning the *sequel to* Steve RPG. That game is so much bigger in scope--to the point that I have to start cutting planned features, just because I am only one person.
As a game dev, I need to let this game DIE! There is so much content to it, so far beyond what I could've even DREAMED or HOPED FOR with this game. This game is suddenly bigger than the average time of a play-through I am hoping for in a standard VillageRPG route. I was aiming for 6 hours... so that's utterly insane that this game can outshine it- if you decide to do everything, that is.
I'm getting older myself. I wanna use my talents for other projects. Not some silly Steve game that I can't make any money off of. I'm not gonna get into life details, but I'm sure you can guess what a 19 year old boy is thinking in the year of 2024. This game is nearly 4 years old! And I was 15 when I started it (imagine an emphasis in my voice when I say 15)! So I really need to let it go. If you love her, you'll let her go... so sad.
Anyways - I hope you all enjoy this update. I really like it myself. I'm, of course, absolutely terrified thinking about the prospect of bugs and glitches in this update... but the content itself is really cool, and I'm quite proud of it. Also making new music for Steve RPG is a pretty cool experience, after thinking that the remake soundtrack was IT and there was nothing else after that.
In case I haven't announced it here, MZ Edition is totally completely entirely dead as I have more important things to work on. Updating VX Ace edition is one of the many reasons as to what killed MZE, because I would then have to re-port the game or port over an entire massive content update. I am NOT doing that. So, this really is it for Steve RPG. MZE was way too taxing on me because I constantly ran into problem after problem. I guess that's what you get for porting a VXA game to MV then to MZ?
That's it from me. The next thing I'm working on is FaSEtM. So look forward to that soon! Thank you all so much for your continued support! It really means the world to me!
